When is my water bill due?

Water bills are due on the 5th of every month. If the 5th falls on a weekend, the bill will be due the following Monday. If the 5th is on a holiday, payment will need to be paid the next business day.

What payments are accepted?

Payment can be made with check, debit card or cash.

When is my water bill late?

Water bills are late, if payment not received by the 5th. A $15 late fee will be assessed if paid after the 5th. If the 5th is on a holiday, payment will need to be paid the next business day.

When will my water be disconnected for non-payment?

Water service will be disconnected if water bill is not paid in full by the date specified on the late notice, by 5 p.m. A $50 reconnect fee will be added to the balance and must be paid in order for water service to resume.

When will my service resume after disconnect?

Service will resume after balance is paid in full and reconnect is scheduled with the System Operator. Normal system duties will take priority over reconnects.

Can I cut the lock on my meter to reconnect service?

No, If an illegal reconnect has been made after service has been disconnected, a fee of $352 will be assessed.

Can I get in trouble for tampering with my meter?

Yes, tempering with any utility service is a Class A misdemeanor in Texas and is punishable by a fine not to exceed $4000, confinement in jail for a term not to exceed one year, or both.
